Maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate that breaks down more slowly than glucose and releases energy gradually. It is a glucose polymer that has a higher glycemic index. However, it is maximally usable for the body. Its use is especially suitable for restoring energy reserves after performance. It is naturally gluten-free and perfectly soluble.
